21 Dogs Judging You With the Precision of a Passive-Aggressive Roommutt

Dogs are an unlimited source of joy and happiness, right? Wrong! Maybe some dogs are, but ours certainly isn't. Ours is like a teenage girl stuck in a 2-year-old dog's body. She loves us, of course, but we get just as many exasperated sighs and sassy side-eyes as we do kisses and tail wags. Fur example, if you sneeze unannounced? Bombtastic side eye. You dare enter the room where she's sleeping and accidentally wake her up? A sigh louder than a dad trying to figure out how to balance the family's budget.

Don't get us wrong - we love our doggo. We love the fact that she is a princess, but sometimes, she does feel like more of a passive-aggressive roommutt than a pet. Don't even think about trying to move her from her sleeping spot on the couch, unless you want her to stare at you uncomfortably for five minutes afterward. But then, we remember that she's this way because we provide everything for her, and once we remember that, all we can do is laugh at how upset she gets over such small things.

It's the worst when a small dog gives you side eye. Like, your brain is smaller than a walnut, and yet you still have the emotional capacity to judge me for eating chips in bed? The math isn't mathing here.

This look is less outright judgmental and more “I know that you know that you did something wrong, and I'm just going to wait here for you to admit it” kind of look. We know it well, because our mom used to give us the exact same look when we were kids.
